November 10: Giving While Living
In honor of the Thanksgiving season, we’re offering a very special November 10th teleconference call on "Giving While Living." Co-sponsored with Atlantic Philanthropies and the Chronicle of Philanthropy, this special call will look at the opportunities and obligations of "Giving While Living." Featured speakers include Lenore Hanisch, family member, trustee, and co-executive director, The Quixote Foundation and Gara LaMarche, President, The Atlantic Philanthropies. NOTE: This special event is cosponsored by the National Center and the Chronicle of Philanthropy, and is free to all FGN Readers.
October 28: Bolder Giving Conversation with John Hunting

National Center Teams Up with Grantmakers in Aging to Spotlight Grantmaking Strategies for Older Adults
The National Center is pleased to announce a new partnership with Grantmakers in Aging's EngAGEment Initiative. Through this partnership, the National Center will showcase best practices and innovative strategies for family foundations around the country seeking effective solutions for supporting older adults in reaching their full potential.
