Haas, Jr. Fund welcomes Monica Presley 

The Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund has announced that Monica Pressley has been named Chief Financial Officer. She will assume her new position on November 2, 2016. Pressley joins the Haas, Jr. Fund from the San Francisco Foundation, where she has worked for 13 years as Chief Financial Officer. Pressley’s responsibilities at the Haas, Jr. Fund will include oversight of investments and financial systems, as well as human resources and technology. Welcome, Monica!

The Gawlicki Family Foundation has a new website

The Gawlicki Family Foundation has a new web site which outlines its three areas of focus: Respiratory Healthcare – particularly pulmonary rehabilitation; the establishment of Masters Level Graduate Programs in Translation & Interpretation; Unique K-12 Educational Initiatives.

Bosa Properties Foundation joins NCFP Friends of the Family

The strategic objectives of the Bosa Properties Foundation are to expand the capacity of community-based nonprofits to achieve greater impact for the clients they serve, as well as increase opportunities for community collaboration and engagement among nonprofits and other sectors. McKnight Foundation welcomes Kara Carlisle

Carlisle becomes the third vice president of programs overseeing McKnight’s program areas since 1975, when the Foundation began hiring staff. In this position, she will provide leadership, management, and oversight for all grant program–related activities of the Foundation. She will work closely with the McKnight board, president Kate Wolford, and other senior staff to pursue the organization’s mission of improving the quality of life for present and future generations. She begins at McKnight on January 9, 2017. Welcome, Kara! 

The Aviv Foundation is searching for a new Program Manager

The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring Aviv operates with excellence, both in internal management, diligence, and operations, and in external communications and interface with colleagues. The Program Manager will be involved with every element of what Aviv does, supporting and working in close thought partnership with the Executive Director and board, as well as operating with significant autonomy. The Aviv Foundation is looking for someone who has a growth mindset, and who will bring enthusiasm, intelligence, and energy to its vision. This person must be excited to work in a start up environment, finds resonance with their mission, and is committed to our culture and values.
