Who:

NCFP’s Board Chair Peer Network, chaired by Liz Bonner and Nicole Seawell, is designed for board chairs of family foundations in NCFP’s member network.

Please note this Peer Network is available only to NCFP’s family philanthropy members. Learn more about joining the NCFP network here.

As philanthropy navigates an uncertain and changing landscape, it’s important to draw on the expertise and experience of peers to explore how family donors continue to effectively support their communities.

Whether acting in solidarity with nonprofit partners, mobilizing additional resources, or seeking opportunities to support big new ideas, family philanthropies have the power, influence, and the ability to move nimbly in ways others sometimes can’t.

In this session, members of the peer network will share their own leadership experiences during this period of significant change. How are they grounding their actions in their purpose and the values that guide their philanthropies? What strategies are they adopting to support their grantee partners and communities? How are they bringing together different perspectives among their board and staff members to pursue a shared vision of meeting the moment?

We invite members of the Board Chair Peer Network to join this session alongside their CEOs or executive directors with whom they partner to lead their respective organizations to jointly engage in this important exchange of ideas and experiences.

The final 30 minutes of each board chair peer network meeting will be open peer space for connection, regardless of the topic.

If you are not yet a member of the Board Chair Peer Network, you may join here.
