It is the job of the owners of these companies to let the public know what they have always stood for and why the businesses they have created should continue into the future.” Ivan Lansberg contends that family enterprises are often inattentive to, or not very good at managing, the political and economic environment in which they operate. Family enterprises should let the public know what values they represent and why they should continue.
