Craig McGarvey is an independent consultant working with philanthropic organizations throughout the United States. He served for a decade with The James Irvine Foundation, first as director of administration and then as program director of Irvine’s Program in Civic Culture. During his tenure at Irvine, he received the Robert W. Scrivner Award for Creative Philanthropy from the Council on Foundations.
