Executive Director, Raikes Foundation

Dennis Quirin joined the Raikes Foundation as executive director in September 2019. Prior to joining the foundation, Dennis was the president of the Neighborhood Funders Group where he provided overall vision and leadership on strategy, partnership development, management and organizational direction for the organization.

Dennis has spent more than two decades supporting social and racial equity as a funder, campaigner, fundraiser and organizer through a variety of roles in California and nationally. These roles included being the founding program designer and officer of the Race and Equity Collaborative at the Proteus Fund, Director of Coalitions and Partnerships at the government reform initiative California Forward and a community organizer in California, among other roles. Dennis earned a degree in Fine Arts from Carleton College. He is Board Chair of the Common Counsel Foundation.
