Who should attend

The National Center for Family Philanthropy is delighted to invite family givers and those who serve them to be our guests for two very special live streaming events from our 20th Anniversary Symposium.

Family philanthropy – in all its forms – can change the world. But how will family philanthropy adapt as the world continues to change at a faster, even dizzying, rate? Demographic patterns, the intergenerational transfer of wealth, changing expectations in how we connect and work and communicate together, new ideas around power and equity, and more will challenge both the practices and results of family philanthropy.

dozen top thinkers will join facilitator Alexander Grashow for a provocative discussion of the trends reshaping families, philanthropy, family enterprises, and the world. They’ll bring perspectives from business, government, nonprofits, science, and more to a lively roundtable format.

What participants said:

NCFP consistently and brilliantly presents the very best education to family foundations and donor advisor funders. Though I actively participate in educational opportunities with many organizations in the philanthropic center it is those offered by NCFP that drill deeper into issues, savor the nuances of family grantmaking and produce products that motivate and inspire in an all embracing understanding of families and the dynamics that challenge them.

Shirley Fredricks, Board Member, The Lawrence Welk Family Foundation

The Family Philanthropy Webinar series is a wonderful resource, allowing us to "attend" sessions from all over and to share materials with other members of our foundation. The transcripts of the sessions are also a valuable resource. Thank you for these Webinars.
