Bill Diggs is president of the Mourning Family Foundation (MFF), which seeks to change the trajectory for young people in South Florida through educational and extracurricular activities.
A founding member of 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc. and the Young Professionals Network of Miami, Mr. Diggs brings a passion for improving the lives of young people in South Florida’s disenfranchised communities. He is a Board Member of The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Black Hospitality Initiative, South Florida Workforce, and the national board for the Alliance for Digital Equality.
Prior to joining MFF, Mr. Diggs was the Chief Executive Officer for The Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce (2005-2013). The Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce is Florida’s oldest Chamber of Commerce that has as its primary mission the growth and retention of minority businesses.
Along with being an avid golfer and jazz enthusiast Mr. Diggs is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University where he obtained a BS in Political Science. He and his wife, Marie, have two children.
