What is the biggest trend in the field of family philanthropy?

I am new to the field, but I’m excited to hear about organizations formally implementing values and action plans addressing equity (race, gender, sexuality, class, etc.).

What did you do before NCFP?

I recently graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. While there, I researched archival material relating to social justice movements and interned with public-serving organizations like Planned Parenthood and the Office of the Governor. I was also an administrative assistant with the Center for Science and Society.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy hearing how people began their personal journey in family philanthropy – every story is different.
