What is the biggest trend in the field of family philanthropy?

Foundations are making an effort to be more inclusive and are taking stronger stances on social and political issues. Both of these trends also work to engage the next generation in philanthropy.

What did you do before NCFP?

I started out working for associations in D.C. Then I moved to Australia where I worked for the Australian Lawyers Alliance and traveled the country. After a stint at a professional services firm, I landed at NCFP. I have a BA in English from Georgetown University and grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy editing, writing, and finding innovative ways to effectively share NCFP and its resources with new audiences.
