I’m the Senior VP for Advancement, which means development, marketing, fundraising – making sure NCFP has the resources to sustain our work for giving families.

I’m reading presidential biographies in chronological order. People said I would never get past Millard Fillmore, but I did.

What is the biggest trend in the field of family philanthropy?

The focus on transition and impact – giving families are becoming more thoughtful about engaging the next generation and about the impact of their philanthropy.

What do you like most about your job?

Without a doubt, it’s the relationships. People who support nonprofit causes are naturally among the kindest and friendliest, and that’s especially true in the world of family philanthropy.
