As the Head of Marketing and External Affairs, Chanel is responsible for business development, investor relations, marketing, and strategic communications for the Firm. Prior to CFIP, she worked in business development for GCM Grosvenor. Chanel earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Princeton University. She is very civically engaged, serving on several nonprofit boards including the Grand Victoria Foundation and The Academy Group. She has received multiple awards for her civic engagement including the 2020 Association of Fundraising Professionals Annual Faces of Philanthropy “Emerging Philanthropist” Award, the 2016 Crain’s Chicago Business “20 in the 20s” designation, and the 2022 Black Woman’s Expo’s “Phenomenal Woman” Award.
