Lowell Weiss is President of Cascade Philanthropy Advisors, Inc., where he provides personalized guidance to foundations and individual donors seeking to deepen their impact, with services ranging from designing new initiatives to implementing focused advocacy efforts to engaging next-generation family members. Previously, he served in a leadership role at one of the world’s foremost change-making institutions, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Among his many responsibilities, he served as staff director of the internal team responsible for providing Bill and Melinda Gates with analytical insights on how to make highest and best use of Warren Buffett’s historic gift to the foundation. Prior to joining the Gates Foundation, he served as director of the chairman’s office at the Morino Institute, which is dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children in the National Capital Region.
