Molly Chafetz is the executive director of the Telluray Foundation, a private family foundation based in Littleton, Colorado. In this role, she partners with a two-generation board and a dedicated staff team to advance a vision of vibrant, thriving, and deeply connected communities across the south Denver region and southwestern Colorado.
Molly’s commitment to social change is shaped by a wide range of professional experiences spanning community organizing, advocacy, and impact investing. Before joining the Telluray Foundation, she led marketing and communications for the first family of fossil-fuel-free mutual funds. Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade in nonpartisan public-interest and environmental organizing, fundraising, and strategy.
In addition to her leadership at the foundation, Molly serves on the board of H2O Radio, supporting journalism focused on climate, water, and the environment.
She holds a degree in political theory from Wesleyan University and a philanthropy professional certificate from Stanford. Molly lives in Denver with her husband and two children.
