Pat Lummus is executive director of the Sartain Lanier Family Foundation, overseeing strategy and operations for the past decade after ten years as associate director. She drives the foundation’s efforts to expand opportunity for children and youth across metro Atlanta, and stewards its investments in Parkinson’s Disease research and in scholarship opportunities at Vanderbilt University.
As a leader in the philanthropic sector, Pat actively fosters collaboration among funders through Philanthropy Southeast, the Georgia Grantmakers Alliance, and the Atlanta Education Funders Collaborative. Along with the Emory Brain Health Advisory Council, she serves in an advisory capacity for several local nonprofit organizations. She is a ministry leader and former elder at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Pat began her career at the fundraising consulting firm Alexander Haas before working independently with nonprofit clients. Pat and her husband, Bill, have three adult children and one grandson.
