Serving in a lead staff role at your family’s foundation comes with meaningful responsibilities and unique challenges. While each family is different, having conversations with others who are related to the donor family and also serve in a staff capacity at a family philanthropy can be rewarding and refreshing. To facilitate these conversations, NCFP is re-launching the Family Staff Peer Network, and we invite family members serving as paid or volunteer staff members to join this peer network. Our goal is to create space and community for family staff members to discuss topics of interest and relevance to their philanthropic efforts.
To kick off this peer network, we are hosting a program focused on the benefits and challenges of staffing your family’s foundation. The program will provide space for attendees to share challenging situations and creative solutions in a confidential space with your peers. In addition, we will solicit feedback on what topics and conversation formats would be most useful to you as we plan future programs for this peer network.
