The Greater Black Point Community Foundation says many types of advisors, including attorneys and accountants, should understand social impact. The foundation names three imperatives for advisors who want to stay informed in “social impact culture” including:
- Staying up to date with economic trends in philanthropy
- Familiarizing yourself with the emotion involved in philanthropy
- Having a working knowledge of social impact
