Alan Preston (he/him) is a donor organizer, money coach, and progressive funder who serves on the board of the Solidaire Network. He is also co-founder and trustee of the Arch Community Fund, a private foundation he and his siblings launched in 2017 to fund transformative organizing.
After earning an MBA and a brief stint on Wall Street, Alan has spent most of the last 30 years working in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. He currently has his own consulting and coaching practice working with individuals, families, and organizations around wealth and giving. Alan received his coaching certification in 2021. He is a proud dad of three children between the ages of 14 and 29 and lives in Seattle, Washington.
