Allison Veryser is a Program Director for the Mathile Family Foundation. In this role, she leads strategies within Foundation initiatives, including the Foundation’s Education and Nonprofit Capacity Building programs. She also supports the development and design of new strategies, supports the Foundation’s grantmaking, and supports multiple generations of the family’s philanthropy. Allison is a Co-Chair of Philanthropy Ohio’s Education Policy Table.
Allison graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science and a Master of Public Administration with a certificate in Nonprofit and Community Leadership. She also has a certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
She began her career as an intern with the Mathile Family Foundation from 2008 to 2010, during which time she also interned at The Glen at St. Joseph. Following her internship, she worked at Habitat for Humanity and the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation before returning to the Mathile Family Foundation as a Program Officer in 2014.
Allison volunteers with Bike Dayton, a chapter of Bike Miami Valley, and is a past board member of UpDayton and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Dayton Chapter. Allison, her husband (Matt), and daughter (Louisa) are active residents of the Downtown Dayton community and live in the McPherson Town Historic District.
