Emma Wen is the coordinator of data and membership for the National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP). Her primary responsibilities include data management, grant operations, and supporting member inquiries while building organizational practices that foster growth and learning. She collaborates across NCFP to expand staff capacity, streamline decision-making, and ensure a seamless member experience.
Prior to joining NCFP, she progressed through various roles on the development team of Kakenya’s Dream, an international nonprofit, designing and implementing strategies to increase annual giving while supporting organizational infrastructure improvements. She has additional experience in nonprofit communications, policy research, and retail service.
Emma holds a BA in political science from Wheaton College and currently lives in Arlington, Virginia. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, reading, and exploring the hilly terrain of Northern Virginia—a novelty for her as a Midwest transplant.
