Kara Chisholm

Senior Manager, Member Services

Kara Chisholm is the senior manager of member services at the National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP). In this role, she cultivates and manages relationships with NCFP’s network of philanthropic families and regional associations, ensuring their continuous engagement and support, and a successful member experience.

She brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit development. Most recently, Kara served as director of development for the Anti-Defamation League’s Washington, DC region, where she led a multimillion-dollar fundraising campaign, stewardship initiatives, and major events. Earlier in her career, she held development roles at several nonprofit performing arts organizations, honing her expertise in donor engagement and membership programs. She has a deep commitment to helping mission-driven organizations and building meaningful relationships with those who support them.

Kara holds a BA from Emory University and resides in Washington, DC with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring arts and culture, cheering on her daughters at sporting events, and discovering local hiking trails with their dog.
