Kate is a principal at The Bridgespan Group. Bridgespan is a global nonprofit consulting and advisory firm that works to build a better world by strengthening the ability of mission driven organizations and philanthropists to address society’s most important challenges and opportunities.
Kate helps lead Bridgespan’s work with high-net worth individuals and families. In her recent years, she has supported several family foundations, both place-based and national. Her work focuses on supporting donors to structure, scale, and evolve their giving over time, often transitioning from individual generosity to sophisticated family and multi-generational giving models. She is a co-author of the articles, “Inflection Points in Family Philanthropy: Start Up, Scale Up, Tune up” (Bridgespan.org, 2025) and “How America’s Most Generous Philanthropists are Giving Big” (Bridgespan.org, 2024).
