Megha Desai is the President of the Desai Foundation, an organization that empowers women and children through community programming to elevate health, livelihood, and menstrual equity in rural India. The organization focuses on cultivating dignity so that everyone can dream beyond their circumstances. The organization has directly impacted over 5 million lives to date, in 8 States in India. The organization was recognized at the Clinton Global Initiative Meeting in 2022 & was visited by Secretary Hillary Clinton in 2023. Previously, Megha worked in advertising, branded entertainment and marketing. Megha proudly sits on the board of directors for TIE – Boston & Take Two Media Initiative. She advises many companies – her current favorite is SpiceWell. She is a contributor to publications like The Boston Globe, Entrepreneur Magazine, Fast Company and THRIVE and delivered a TEDx Talk featured on TED.com. She is a singer and performs with the Resistance Revival Chorus (signed to Righteous Babe Records) at venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Summer Stage and more.
