Tom Montague is a current Footprint Foundation trustee and was previously on the boards of the Lyndhurst Foundation and The Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga.
After serving as one of Slow Food USA’s first regional governors representing the Southeast, he started a local butcher shop and now restaurant, Main Street Meats, and has been involved in a variety of local food ventures as both an operator and investor, as well as non profits working in sustainable agriculture.
He graduated from The University of Virginia in 1991, before he and his wife met teaching in Louisiana with Teach For America. They raised their 2 children in Chattanooga and are currently spending the summer on their floating home in Seattle.
