The board chair-CEO relationship is central to a foundation’s effectiveness—no more so than in times of transition.

During this session, we’ll explore how board chairs and CEOs can partner through a transition when one half of that partnership changes. We’ll discuss how to:

  • Delineate authority and responsibility
  • Manage shifting board dynamics
  • Clarify who represents and speaks for the organization, internally and externally
  • Lay the groundwork for an incoming CEO or chair
