Engaging Youth Peer Network: Community Service as a Pathway to Youth Engagement

NCFP’s Engaging Youth Peer Network is co-chaired by Neil Gobioff, Cadence Miller. This group of adult family members, staff, and volunteers gathers several times a year to share resources, tools, and strategies for inspiring and engaging youth in family philanthropy.

Please note this Peer Network is available only to NCFP’s family philanthropy members. Learn more about joining the NCFP network here.

What motivates youth to engage in and serve their communities? What kinds of support do youth need to become actively involved in their communities? Come learn about The Allstate Foundation’s work to empower youth to serve and improve communities led by The Allstate Foundation and Social Impact Managing Director Greg Weatherford II. Discuss with your peers how incorporating youth-led community service might invite increased interest in philanthropy and connection to community.

If you are not yet a member of the Engaging Youth Peer Network, you may join and be notified when registration for this event opens here. Please note that staff of community foundations, philanthropy-serving organizations, and nonprofits are not permitted to attend.

For this interactive meeting, we encourage attendees to join with webcams on. To help foster candid discussions, peer network events are not recorded.
