Family Staff Peer Network: How Good Governance Supports Positive Family Dynamics
Exclusively available to family members who serve in a staff role at their family's philanthropy. Available only to NCFP Members.
Virtual meeting
Governance is a framework through which you codify who makes decisions and how those decisions will be made. Establishing clear decision-making roles and processes for your family’s philanthropy can help provide clarity and alignment of family members’ expectations, which also helps to mitigate conflict.
What governance structures do you have in place? How are decisions made and who is involved in those decisions? Who sits on your board and what decision-making authority do they have? Join the discussion with other family staff members who are considering these questions to learn from their experiences and share your own.
Note: The program will include facilitated breakout group discussions with peers grappling with similar challenges related to governance and decision-making.
The Family Staff Peer Network is available to family members who serve in a staff role at their family’s philanthropy. The network is only available to NCFP Member organizations.
