Meeting the Moment Part One: Philanthropic Vehicles to Fund Democracy
Available exclusively to NCFP Members and Network Partners
Virtual webinar
What are the models and vehicles available for investing in and strengthening democracy? How are family philanthropies using them successfully?
This webinar will equip participants with an understanding of the types of vehicles and strategies that can be used to fund this work. You will hear from family foundations with direct experience funding in this area, including the Aviv Foundation, Storer Foundation, and David Rockefeller Fund. Our panelist organizations employ a variety of strategies and vehicles to fund democracy-building and sustaining work locally and nationally. Estevan Muñoz-Howard from Ktisis Capital, who has experience working with multiple donor clients supporting democracy, will be moderating the discussion.
This session is designed for those interested in spurring new, increased, and sustained giving for strengthening democracy beyond election cycles.
This webinar is part of the Meeting the Moment series within the Fundamentals of Family Philanthropy webinar programming. Join us for part two on September 10, Meeting the Moment Part Two: Effective Communication and Building Consensus through Change, and part three on October 8, Meeting the Moment Part Three: Shifting Power & Participatory Practices.
