In philanthropy, meaningful change is the aim—it’s the purpose and the promise. But in striving for and achieving impact, have we been effective? Who decides the measures of success and what are the conditions that promote meaningful and enduring progress? And how is the next generation particularly positioned to promote effectiveness?

Join the National Center for Family Philanthropy and Northern California Grantmakers to explore how philanthropic families and their next generation family members are accelerating the pace of their giving, shifting their practices, and revisiting their purpose at time of historic change. The conversation will explore trends in giving and introduce the four principles of effective family philanthropy—accountability, equity, learning, and relationships.

If you are a family funder in the Bay Area, we invite you to join us for a conversation and peer connections. Contact Maureen Esposito at Maureen.Esposito@ncfp.org for more information.
