The BIPOC Leaders Peer Network convenes BIPOC CEOs, presidents, and executive directors from family philanthropies to build connection, exchange insights, and share important tools and resources specific to their leadership roles.
Sessions vary in format and may feature presentations by peers or experts, as well as real-time discussions on emerging topics and challenges that are commonly faced as a BIPOC leader.
This network promotes an inclusive and equitable landscape within family philanthropy and addresses many topics, such as:
- Governance and Board Engagement
- How to help the board understand community and cultural context
- The challenges of navigating family culture as a BIPOC leader
- Leadership Challenges and Opportunities
- Centering personal well-being
- Leading in predominantly white spaces
- Championing equity, inclusion, and diversity as a benefit to all
