The NCFP Rural Funders Peer Network was available from 2022 to 2025, providing a space for learning and discussion for philanthropic families working in rural areas, including those funding in rural Tribal places. To better meet the needs of the NCFP community, in 2025 we are transitioning from a peer network structure to focusing on incorporating the rural perspective more generally into NCFP programs.

Examples of programs that reflect this rural perspective are below.

Rural Places as an Equity Strategy

The Black Belt Community Foundation: Taking a Multi-Faceted Approach to Rural Funding

Workforce Development in Rural Communities

Rural Capacity Building–The Rural Partners Network

NCFP would like to thank former co-chairs of the peer network: Erin Borla and Wynn Rosser.
