Christine is the founder and principal of CRS Philanthropy Consulting, LLC. Through the craft of philanthropy, Christine helps discover, articulate, utilize, and leverage all resources to advance their missions.
Her national and southern clients include family, private, community, corporate, and re-granting intermediary foundations, as well as multi-family offices, philanthropic think tanks, large-scale and boutique philanthropic consulting firms, philanthropy serving organizations and associations, donor collaboratives, United Ways, and United Way state associations.
As an issue generalist and strategy and relationship specialist, her work includes her unique 5-star strategic plan framework (with annual action plans), grantmaking and non-grantmaking programs (design, implementation, and evaluations), research projects (landscape scans, SWOT analyses, power-mapping, evaluations, benchmarking reports, operations assessments, case studies, etc.), facilitations and presentations, curriculum design, executive coaching, team learning agendas, and more.
Christine previously served as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Urban Institute’s Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy, Executive Director of The Sapelo Foundation, Director of Foundation Programs at Alliance for Justice, and Senior Field Associate at National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy.
She also served on the boards of Funders Committee for Civic Participation, Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, and Alliance for Nonprofit Management, as well as the public policy committee of Georgia Grantmakers Alliance, steering committee of Georgia Funders Network for Racial Equity, leadership council of Drawdown Georgia, and faculty for Philanthropy Southeast’s Philanthropy Essentials Courses. Christine graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Emory University.
