Mohit Mookim is a JD candidate at Stanford Law School and former researcher at the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (PACS). In his research at PACS and in his previous role at the Laura Arrillaga-Andreessen Foundation, he has explored frameworks and practices that would make the philanthropic sector more democratic. Mohit is committed to a vision for the nonprofit sector that transfers power to poor and BIPOC communities, and he is currently pursuing avenues for social justice lawyering that do the same. Mohit is from New Jersey and holds a BA in Philosophy and Public Policy from Stanford University.
