Portfolio Manager, Family Philanthropy

We are seeking a driven, adaptable, and experienced grantmaker to join our growing team as a Portfolio Manager for Family Philanthropy. This role is focused on helping three small, family-led philanthropic organizations elevate their impact. We’re looking for a grantmaking generalist who can manage a diverse set of grants across issue areas such as early childhood, STEM education, scientific research, climate, and mental health. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work collaboratively with different principals, and who thrives at both the strategic and hands-on levels of philanthropic work. This person will be tasked with handling day-to-day operations, overseeing grantmaking, leading engagement with grantees and field partners, learning new issue areas as necessary, and representing the entities externally. In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to build on the early work of three unique entities and support the next phase of growth for these organizations.
