Mrs. Adele Simmons is vice chair of Metropolis Strategies and President of the Global Philanthropy Partnership. From 1989 to 1999, she was President of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Mrs. Simmons is a member of the boards of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Field Museum of Chicago, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
