Daniel Horgan

Daniel Horgan seeks to change the world by equipping, elevating and evolving others through his words and actions. He is an avid student of life, striving to learn from each person he encounters and each experience he embraces.  Sparked by a volunteer experience with the YMCA at the age of 12, Daniel went on to pioneer the first youth-led Community of Promise under Retired General Colin Powell’s national America’s Promise movement.  His leadership landed Daniel a seat on the national board of directors and recognition from President George W. Bush.  Daniel’s passion for community organizing and leadership development has been strengthened through 17 years of nonprofit management, consulting, and corporate philanthropy.  Daniel is the Founder and CEO of D.G. Horgan Group (www.dghorgangroup.com) and works with nonprofit organizations, businesses and individuals in the areas of leadership and organizational development, strategic planning, program development, diversity, and partnership building.  He resides in New York, NY.
