Gail Nachman

Gail Nachman is the former Executive Director of the Jim and Carol Trawick Foundation. Prior to her position at the Foundation, Gail had a long career in public service with the Montgomery County government. She was the Chief Policy Officer for the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services and prior to that position was the Director of the Bethesda Chevy Chase Regional Services Center for 14 years. Gail retired from County government in June, 2004. She is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery Class of ’92 and a member and past chair of the Montgomery County United Way Regional Council. Gail’s current activities involve volunteering at the Make A Wish Foundation of the MidAtlantic. She is also the co-founder of the Rockville chapter of Dining for Women and a mentor for new chapter leaders.
