A public interest attorney, he served as board secretary of the Council on Foundations, board chairman of the Liberty Hill Foundation, secretary of the Philippine Development Foundation, chairman of California Volunteers, and Program Director at The California Wellness Foundation. For the last decade, he was Senior Vice President of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, guiding global campaigns like Hope for Haiti Now and Stand Up To Cancer. Today, Michael is the principal of Candlelion LLC and senior coach at Own The Room, coaching philanthropists, Fortune 500 CEO’s, entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders in business, technology and education on communications and messaging.
