Ralph Smith

Ralph Smith is senior vice president of the Annie E. Casey Foundation. He also serves as managing director for the Campaign for Grade Level Reading, a national effort to increase rates of third-grade reading proficiency, especially for children from low-income families.  From 1975 to 1997, he sat on the faculty of the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania, teaching corporate law, securities regulations, and education law and policy.
