2026 Family Philanthropy Network Partner Summit: Guiding Families Through the Family Giving Lifecycle

The Family Giving Lifecycle is a seven-stage framework that encompasses the inflection points philanthropic families move through and provides a practical guide for helping them reach effective outcomes. At this year’s Partner Summit, NCFP staff will walk through each stage and share how you can support the families you work with at every point along the way.
For three of the stages—Philanthropic Purpose, Governance, and Succession and Legacy—we’ll break into small groups to go deeper. These conversations are a chance to compare notes with peers on your experience working with families at each stage, learn from colleagues across the field, and share your own expertise.
The session will close with time for your questions and an opportunity to network with your fellow NCFP Partners.
