The Strategic Lifespan Peer Network is a space for those in family philanthropy whose organizations are intentionally considering their philanthropy’s lifespan, want to learn more about operating with a limited lifespan, or are staff or board members of a family foundation that has decided to spend down.
The network covers a range of topics related to strategic lifespan such as:
- The importance of regularly considering the lifespan of your philanthropy
- Deciding to operate with a limited lifespan
- How grantmaking strategies evolve during the spend down process
- Communicating the decision to spend down with staff members and partners
- Documenting and sharing the foundation’s legacy
Meet colleagues for candid, trusting conversations about tactics, strategies, and timely questions about limited lifespan foundations.
