Ben Grande

Director of Philanthropy, Glick Philanthropies

As Director of Philanthropy, Ben works across the various organizations and initiatives within Glick Philanthropies to maximize the community impact of Glick’s philanthropic work. Ben manages community relations related to Glick Philanthropies and leads day-to-day operations associated with grantmaking and evaluation.

Ben brings a strong background in event management to his role at Glick Philanthropies, having joined the organization after four years in the events department at Lucas Oil Stadium. His experience coordinating major sporting events such as the NFL Scouting Combine, 2015 NCAA Men’s Final Four, Indianapolis Colts games and more has translated nicely to his role in planning and executing large-scale volunteer events with community partners on behalf of Glick.

Ben is inspired by selfless people who go above and beyond to make the world a better place – which is why he finds carrying on the philanthropic legacy of Gene and Marilyn Glick so fulfilling. He is especially excited to make the work of Glick Philanthropies more visible in the community. “For decades, Glick has been working behind the scenes to make central Indiana a better place to live, work and play. I’m fortunate to be able to help share the message of Glick Philanthropies as well as help connect Gene B. Glick company employees to meaningful philanthropic opportunities within the community,” Ben says.

Currently, Ben serves as a board member with the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. and the JCC Indianapolis, as well as on advisory boards for Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana and the Indiana University School of Medicine – Department of Ophthalmology.

Ben obtained his Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies through the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IUPUI. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University. When he’s not at work or supporting community organizations, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and twin boys.
