Brooks Reed

Vice President of Business Development, CAF America

I have worked with the CAF Group in a variety of roles since October 2015, when I was a co-author on the report titled Beyond Integrity: Exploring the role of business in preserving the civil society space (Charities Aid Foundation, 2016). After briefly working with CAF UK’s International Team in London, I joined CAF America in 2017 and have led the Department of Business Development since January 2018.

My background is in international development, with research interests focusing on the private sector in development and corporate citizenship. My professional experience outside of CAF America includes time with international NGOs and within the Executive Office of the Governor of Florida.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and (sometimes successfully) baking.

I hold a MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics, as well as a BA in International Affairs and a BA in Political Science from Florida State University. I am a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) and I am certified in Anti-Money Laundering by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
