Lindsay Hall

Board Chair, Laird Norton Family Foundation

Lindsay believes that our greatest and most underutilized faculty is the intuition. This guiding principle shapes her approach to life in Northern California raising two young children, as well as her work as chair of the Laird Norton Family Foundation where she has been involved for almost 20 years. She is a sixth-generation Laird Norton Family member who also helped the foundation form its focus areas when it took on a new structure of family engagement in 2006.

She studied Art at UCLA, where she focused on painting and installation art. Her love of art helped create one of the foundation’s focus areas, Arts in Education, where she served on the funding advisory committee. After a shoulder tap from one of her 500 cousins she applied and served as a director on the foundation board for 8 years. After taking a year off to renew her tenure, Lindsay returned as board chair in 2024.
