Stephen Robinson

Philanthropic Advisor, Seattle Foundation

Stephen Robinson is a Philanthropic Advisor at Seattle Foundation. Stephen advises families and individuals on effective philanthropic strategies to support their community interests, realize philanthropic impact and create meaningful legacies. Stephen manages our Scholarship Program and works closely with philanthropists interested in impact investing.

As a philanthropic advisor, Stephen brings contemplative practices and rigorous qualitative methods to shape conversations and decisions. He draws on these tools as he advises families and individuals on effective philanthropic strategies to support community interests, realize philanthropic impact and unlock their full generosity potential.

Additionally, Stephen manages Seattle Foundation’s Scholarship Program, which directs $1.2 million to further the education of students. Outside of the office, Stephen serves on the board of the University of Washington’s Office of Minority Affairs, the steering committee of Emerging Practitioners In Philanthropy (EPIP) and teaches meditation at a local Buddhist center. He was a 2017-2018 Leadership Fellow with the Henry M. Jackson Foundation.

Stephen has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2014.
