Jared Heddinger is originally from Battle Creek Michigan. From 2012 to 2014 he began his philanthropy journey by serving on the Battle Creek Community Foundation’s (BCCF) Youth Alliance Committee (YAC). He then joined Michigan Community Foundation’s Youth Project MCFYP in 2013 to plan a yearly summer conference for youth grant makers on YAC’s across the state of Michigan. In 2014, he also joined Youth Philanthropy Connect to further help the philanthropic scene across multiple areas. Jared is currently a Freshman at the University of Michigan.
