Katie Marcus Reker has been active in youth philanthropy since age twelve as a Junior Board Member of the Frieda C. Fox Family Foundation and now serves as a member of the foundation’s Board of Directors. She also serves as a member of the Association of Small Foundations’ Next Generation Committee. Katie has always enjoyed making site visits, learning about grantmaking by sponsoring several grants, and sitting in on board of directors meetings. In 2008, she was one of the Fox Foundation panelists at an Engaging Youth session at the Association of Small Foundations conference in Denver, in 2008. Katie was thrilled to reprise that role in 2012, as co-moderator of a Learning Lab at ASF National in San Francisco, 2012.
