Rose Community Foundation was created in 1995 with the assets from the sale of Rose Medical Center, a hospital created by Denver’s Jewish community in 1949. Today, they operate entirely independently from the hospital, but their work remains grounded in the priorities that guided the hospital’s work: a tradition of philanthropy, a commitment to serving the entire community and high standards of excellence.

Rose Community Foundation works to enhance the quality of life of the Greater Denver community through its leadership, resources, traditions and values. The Foundation uses leadership, grantmaking, and donor engagement to invest in strategic and innovative solutions to enduring problems and emerging issues.
