Ruth Purcell-Jones is the Director of Philanthropic Services at the Central Indiana Community Foundation. As Director of Philanthropic Services, Ruthie works to ensure that CICF is doing its utmost to help the individuals, families, and organizations that partner with the organization. In short, her charge is to help them make the biggest difference possible with their philanthropic dollars. For families that have donor advised funds at CICF, that means connecting their interests and passions with needs and organizations in the community. For organizations with CICF endowments, that means supporting their growth by providing planned giving or endowment development assistance. Prior to CICF, Ruthie held leadership positions and provided coaching and consulting for over a hundred central Indiana nonprofits. She holds degrees in sociology and law and enjoys living in downtown Indiana with her two grown and two almost grown children.
