Barbara Greenberg is the founder of the Philanthropic Group, a donor advisory group that has served many foundations in areas including children and youth, child welfare policy, aging, social services, education, healthcare, community building, arts and the environment. Greenberg designs foundation grantmaking strategies and develops innovative local and national grant programs. Throughout her career Greenberg has held leadership roles in local and national grantmaker groups, including New York Regional Association of Grantmakers, Council on Foundations and Grantmakers in Aging. Greenberg earned a B.A. cum laude in English literature from Boston University, and M.S.W. from the University of Connecticut, School of Social Work in Hartford, Connecticut.
